Privacy policy

Glide Rings keeps activity data on your Mac.

What Glide Rings processes

With your explicit macOS Input Monitoring permission, Glide Rings observes trackpad and mouse motion events: scrolling distance, pointer movement, clicks, and available pressure values. Glide Rings does not monitor keyboard events, typed text, document content, browser history, or the identity of the apps you use.

Use and storage

Events are immediately reduced to aggregate activity totals used for goals, history, and optional repetitive-movement reminders. These totals and your preferences stay inside the Glide Rings sandbox on your Mac.

Sharing and third parties

Glide Rings has no analytics SDK, advertising identifier, remote account, or cloud service and does not transmit activity data. A share image leaves the app only when you invoke the macOS share sheet and choose a destination.

Retention, deletion, and wellness

Statistics remain until you reset them or remove Glide Rings and its local container. Input Monitoring can be revoked in System Settings. Glide Rings is a general wellness utility, not medical diagnosis or treatment.
